- Taking blood samples
- Undertaking patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen levels)
- Providing reassurance and guidance to patients
- Handling emergency admissions and triage cases

Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a Band 5 A&E Nurse with Royal Free, you will:
- Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in seriously ill or unstable conditions.
- Support emergency admissions and their families, ensuring effective communication of clinical information.
- Assess and prioritise patient requirements, delegating effectively.
- Recognise, review, and report changes in patient conditions to senior medical staff.
- Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct.
- Take blood samples, fit cannulas, and conduct patient observations.
- Treat resuscitation patients and manage triage cases.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Registered Nurse (NMC registration required)
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
- Enhanced background check clearance
