Position: Occupational Therapist
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and Evaluate: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical and mental abilities to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized plans aimed at improving patients’ functional abilities and independence.
- Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on proper techniques, exercises, and activities to maximize recovery and outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and physical therapists, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic treatment approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with current research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy to provide the highest quality of care.
- Adhere to Ethical Guidelines: Follow all ethical and legal guidelines in patient care.
- Advocacy: Advocate for patients’ rights and access to occupational therapy services.
- Team Participation: Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings and care plan development.
- Maintain Safety: Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
