Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can deliver high-quality care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care:
Provide direct care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Assist with daily activities and provide support as necessary. - Medication Administration:
Administer prescribed medications in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring patient safety and compliance with medical orders. - Monitoring Vital Signs:
Regularly monitor and document patients’ vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) to detect any changes in their condition. - Patient Assessments:
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to evaluate their condition, identify potential risks, and report findings to the healthcare team. - Procedure Assistance:
Assist with medical procedures, ensuring that the necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and sterile. - Collaborative Care:
Work closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and other nursing staff to ensure effective and coordinated care for patients. - Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to ensure positive outcomes and patient empowerment. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license in the applicable region.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform nursing procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
